Pfizer Animal Health - Business Development & Global Alliances
About Us
The Business Development & Global Alliances group within Pfizer Animal Health
is a team of medical, scientific and business experts.
Our goal to identify and bring to market innovative approaches to veterinary
medicine that will help pets live longer, healthier lives, enhance the health
and productivity of livestock, and improve the safety and quality of the food
supply.
What We Do
Outside Pfizer, we work directly with partners across a vast array of
institutions who share a common vision and complementary strengths to build
winning collaborations and alliances.
Within Pfizer, we work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Research &
Development and other parts of the organization to provide rapid and
comprehensive evaluation of external opportunities.
As a general rule, Global Alliances takes the lead in early stage, collaborative
research projects. When opportunities involve in-licensing of early or late
stage projects, or marked products, Business Development leads the discussion
with outside parties.
How We Do It
Our partnering process has been structured to provide a rapid and
comprehensive evaluation of the scientific merits, market potential and
commercial viability of all opportunities.
To facilitate initial contact, subsequent communication during all phases of the
review process, and support for our partners after an agreement is reached, we
have established a single gateway for opportunity submission.
